In A Fatal Grace, it’s winter in Three Pines. The villagers are preparing for a traditional country Christmas, and someone is preparing for murder. If it’s been awhile since you’ve read the second book in the series, we invite you to refresh your memory of the novel with our Re-Read lead by the late Hope Dellon. You can also learn more about the real-life inspirations behind the settings and cultural references in the book, try a recipe the characters enjoy in A Fatal Grace, and explore more of all things A Fatal Grace here at GamacheSeries.com.
“I often think we should have tattooed on the back of whatever hand we use to shoot or write, ‘I might be wrong.’” What quote would you have tattooed on the back of your hand? Let us know in the comments!

There is no ministry involving people that does not require forgiveness.
I am not sure but like idea some one suggests about the 3 pines. I love it even more seeing series on Amazon!
From Brandi Carlisle, “Be gentle.”
The word Pause for my tatoo
Like the song says, “Be humble and kind”
“Listen then speak”
Regarding tattoos, another teacher at our high school in Minnesota has a tattoo of three pines on the back of her ankle. It is TOO COOL- and I intend to copy her@
I grew up with an Indian quotation posted on a wall:
Love many, trust few, always paddle your own canoe.

Make sure you really love the tattoo before you get the ink!
Oh, I DO!
I loved your stories. The tattoo on my hand should read, “Don’t waste your energy on yesterday’s mistakes”.
Love is not lost if lived lightly
This is particularly true to keep in mind when in any kind of leadership role. you can be wrong and somebody already responded often are. Don’t be too puffed up to say I’m sorry I was wrong.
Gamache is a great philosopher. He thinks before he reacts.
I read all the books during the COVID shut down and my husband was so impressed, he is reading them also. We are going on the 3 Pines tour this fall and very much looking forward to it. I too tell everyone that reads to get hooked on this series.
How do you access the Three Pines Tour?
At this point in my life I might have “Help Please” on the back of my hand—a plea at times and a reminder at others.
Looking forward to buy books.
Welcome back!
I’ve recommended these books to all my reading friends. I’m about to start rereading the last one to prep for the new release.
I don’t want to count how many times I HAVE been wrong. Such a good quote ❣
“Above all, be KIND.”
Mine should be, “Does it need to be said.” Different piece of Gamache wisdom but the most apropos.
Someone said they love the TV series. Where is it streaming?
Amazon prime Video.
I have a dear friend named Nancy Moore who lives in Utah. Is this you, Nancy?

Thank you so much!
Just one man’s opinion but don’t get your hopes up
Amazon it is so good wish they would continue!
Think and think again before speaking

Such good, clear wisdom! A very great gift to me and others, would be for me to absorb this wisdom as a ‘default’ for the rest of my life. What a joyous Godsend it could be
Ahh Mary, that is such sage advice. I use a similar one while sewing – measure twice cut once!
