I am not sure but like idea some one suggests about the 3 pines. I love it even more seeing series on Amazon!

Regarding tattoos, another teacher at our high school in Minnesota has a tattoo of three pines on the back of her ankle. It is TOO COOL- and I intend to copy her@

I grew up with an Indian quotation posted on a wall:
Love many, trust few, always paddle your own canoe.

I loved your stories. The tattoo on my hand should read, “Don’t waste your energy on yesterday’s mistakes”.

This is particularly true to keep in mind when in any kind of leadership role. you can be wrong and somebody already responded often are. Don’t be too puffed up to say I’m sorry I was wrong.

Gamache is a great philosopher. He thinks before he reacts.
I read all the books during the COVID shut down and my husband was so impressed, he is reading them also. We are going on the 3 Pines tour this fall and very much looking forward to it. I too tell everyone that reads to get hooked on this series.

At this point in my life I might have “Help Please” on the back of my hand—a plea at times and a reminder at others.

I’ve recommended these books to all my reading friends. I’m about to start rereading the last one to prep for the new release.

Mine should be, “Does it need to be said.” Different piece of Gamache wisdom but the most apropos.

Such good, clear wisdom! A very great gift to me and others, would be for me to absorb this wisdom as a ‘default’ for the rest of my life. What a joyous Godsend it could be

Ahh Mary, that is such sage advice. I use a similar one while sewing – measure twice cut once!
